We believe that tabletop gaming creates a unique social space apart from the digital world. A board game brings people together, in the same place at the same time. It’s the mix of belly laughs, defeated groans, surprised screams, triumphant shouts, and the click-clack of plastic and wood on cardboard.
In effect, we work together to liberate one another from reality. Analogue parts become the gateway function to a new social world: we adopt characters, engage with different economies, colonize a place that appears uninhabited, and have to engage in trade relations.
